UNDERGARDEN (FPS Prototype)

UNDERGARDEN is a fast-paced, "push-forward" FPS where you descend into the gnome underworld to blast through a devious uprising. After centuries of suffering in human gardens, the gnomes are plotting to take over the surface—and you are the only one going down there to stop them.

 ❓What to Expect

• Early Alpha Prototype: All assets, including characters and weapons, are currently just placeholders.
• Difficulty: You will encounter bugs and may experience a steep difficulty curve (depending on your experience with high-speed shooters).
• Test Goals: The goal right now is purely to test the following:
  • Core Gameplay Loop: (Move – Shoot – Kill – Survive)
  • Movement & Mobility: (How fluid and responsive the movement feels)
  • Impact & Game Feel: (The satisfaction of shooting and killing enemies)
  • Enemy AI: (How smart, dynamic, and aggressive the gnomes are)
  • Combat Pacing: (The high-adrenaline rhythm and flow)
  • Difficulty & Fairness: (Ammo/health drop balance and enemy spawning)

⚠️Quick Notes

• Level 1 is designed to be played without the Dash ability and the Rifle.
• All enemies spawn infinitely in each level to test how long you can survive the horde. This helps me figure out the balance of each level—whether it is too punishing for 'Easy' difficulty, or too much of a breeze for 'Hard'.
• Audio Bug: If the music or SFX is too loud and the pause menu sliders aren't working, please return to the Main Menu and adjust the volume in the settings there.
